- Description
- This is a Request for Information (RFI) only. Do not submit a proposal or quote. Vendors are invited to provide responses to the request below. This RFI is for informational purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to procure any items/services, or for the Government to pay for the information received. The purpose of this RFI is to identify potential solutions that can help U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Software Engineering Center (SEC) with the Software Engineering Environment (SE2) mission. Scope: CECOM SEC is seeking support for various technologies as part of the SE2 initiative. The SE2 program's mission is to provide SEC's software engineering teams with a standard set of core software engineering tools and capabilities deployed as managed services with a focus on rapid development and deployment. Provided below is a list of technologies which have already been provisioned and released into operation. To maintain these technologies, SE2 is looking to supplement the existing Infrastructure support with Subject Matter Expert (SME) services that can support each technology listed. Goal: To acquire SME support and assistance with a focus on architecture advice and issue resolution while SEC continues to develop, deploy, and implement the ongoing SE2 mission requirements beginning in FY19. SEC would prefer to acquire support in one-week (40 hour) increments as problem resolution is required. The supplemental support would be available as needed to resolve complex problems and/or provide planning advice. There is no incumbent currently. In your response please provide which technologies listed below your company and/or teaming arrangement can support as well as how the responding vendor will maintain and demonstrate their staff's expertise in providing SME support in these technologies. SE2 is also requesting industry's input on how a contract could be structured for this type of support solution. The technologies in which SEC requires subject matter expertise currently includes: • Microsoft (SQL Server, Team Foundation Server, SharePoint, Project Server, SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Analytics Services, SQL Server Integration Services) • Atlassian (JIRA Software, Crowd, Fisheye, Confluence, Bitbucket, Crucible, various accompanying plug-ins) • Citrix (XenApp, Xen Desktop, Netscaler) • Jenkins and various accompanying plug-ins • VMWare (VCenter, ESXi) • Solarwinds (Kiwi, Orion, Dameware) • CISCO (Routers, Switches, Security) • Redhat Enterprise Linux • HP Arcsight • Riverbed Steelhead NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (04-SEP-2018); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
