Description

**The purpose of this Modification/Amendment is to remove set aside restriction from orginal post** A notice of intent to sole source (special notice) will be posted on FBO to notify the public of the Governments intent to make a sole source award for the Women's Health Clinic at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. This sole source award is for GE ViewPoint6 Software Maintenance that the department has deemed necessary for proper patient care. This award is based upon a Sole Source in which General Electric is the only source which can provide and maintain the software used to operate General Electric Ultrasound Machines. The services are very specific to the procedure being performed and are what is required for the Women's Health Clinic to satisfy its mission at NMCP. Any deviation from the specifications of these products will increase the risk to the patient and is unacceptable to the Government. Sole Source documents are attached to special notice. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (04-SEP-2018); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
