Description

This solicitation will contain one NSN for an ACTUATOR, ELECTRO-MECHANICAL, LINEAR, YLN [WSDC]/HELICOPTER, SEAHAWK UH-60. A Request for Proposal (RFP) will be solicited for award of a firm fixed price contract. The original equipment manufacturer and only approved source is MOOG INC. DBA MOOG COMPONENTS GROUP, CAGE 4H618; P/N: 549AS446. The NSN and quantity are as follows: NSN: 3010-01-315-6915, quantity 271 each with no Option for Increased Quantity - Separately Priced Line Item. The delivery schedule is 433 days ARO. FOB: Origin; Inspection/Acceptance: Origin. Government Production Lot Testing Requirement in solicitation. This is a source controlled item, approved source MOOG INC., coded/AMSC "B". This is a NAVY CRITICAL SAFETY ITEM (CSI). The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The solicitation issue date is on or about September 19, 2018 in accordance with 10 U. S. C. 2304 (c) (1), other than full and open competition applies. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with the approved source. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
