Description

NOTICE OF INTENT The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16, proposes to enter into a contract on a basis of other than full and open competition for Cardiac Cath Lab Electrical Outlet Installs for the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System in New Orleans, LA. No responses to this notice are requested. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to Hernandez Consulting and Construction on a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) sole-source set-aside basis under the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(5), as authorized by 38 U.S.C. 8127(b), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 6.302-5, Authorized or Required by Statute. FAR 13 procedures will be utilized. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, and anything else necessary to provide and install six (6) 120-volt circuits with receptacle pedestals and floor cable covers and anything else required by the project Performance Work Statement, Drawings, and Specifications. Work to be accomplished at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System, 2400 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70119. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 236220 with a Small Business Size Standard of $36.5M. No solicitation package will be issued. This Notice of Intent IS NOT a request for competitive quotations/proposals.
