- W912P518T0044 - Technical Specifications W912P518T0044 - Technical Plans W912P518T0044 - Solicitation The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers is issuing solicitation W912P518T0044 for the fabrication of a tow haulage winch. The contractor is to furnish and supply all materials and equipment required to fabricate the tow haulage winch unit for Ft. Loudoun Lock Project in accordance with the technical specifications and plans. Grout pads, concrete pads, and anchor bolt installation are provided for information only. The tow haulage winch unit shall include inverter duty electric motor with encoder that is suitable for use with a closed loop vector control variable frequency drive (VFD), drum, gear unit, limit switch, integral winch unit base, wire ropes, anchor bolts, and other necessary accessories. Include all shipping costs in pricing. Questions regarding this procurement must be submitted in writing by Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Central Time to Contract Specialist Kristal Jones at Kristal.R.Jones@usace.army.mil. Please include the solicitation number and project title in the subject line of the e-mail. No organized site visit has been scheduled for this procurement. Any requests made for a site visit will be denied.
