- Solicitation (SF1449) Request for Quote (RFQ) H92239-18-R-0003: Library Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Self-Checkout System This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES AS THE ONLY SOLICITATION WHICH IS ATTACHED AS A SF1449. All persons responding must reference solicitation number H92239-18-R-0003 which is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). BRAND NAME OR EQUAL (BNOE): Some items on this RFQ have been identified as "brand name or equal". Such identification is intended to be descriptive but not restrictive and is to indicate the quality and characteristics of products that will be satisfactory. Quotations offering "equal" products will be considered for award if such products are clearly identified and are determined by the Government to fully meet the salient characteristics and requirements listed in the solicitation. To ensure that sufficient information is available for technical evaluation, the offeror shall furnish descriptive material (technical information, brochures, drawings, or other information) necessary to assist in determining whether the product offered meets the salient characteristics of the requirement. Offerors not providing technical information may be excluded from competition. For Required Specifications See Attached Solicitation The United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) is seeking to procure an RFID Library Self-Checkout system for the Marquat Memorial Research Library located on Fort Bragg, NC. The procurement must include installation and set-up of the software/readers and gates. It is encouraged to contact the Government for clarification if there are or appear to be, errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the request for quote. IAW DFARS 252.211-7003, Item Unique Identification and Valuation (IUID), any item over $5K shall have unique serial numbers applied to each device. Quote shall reflect charges for an IUID label. If no charge is applied, quote shall state such. Please ensure the following information is included with your quote: Cage Code, DUNS Number, Contact Information, Payment / Discount Terms, Delivery times and charges (if applicable) and any other remarks as necessary. Vendors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) in order to do business with the Federal Government.
