- Attachment 3 - DOD Anti-Ram Barrier List Attachment 2 - Drop Arm Barrier - Contractor Install Attachment 1 - Drop Arm Barrier - Base Install Solicitation/Synopsis Document See attached Solicitation/Synopsis. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) as a Request for Quote (RFQ) No. F3Q3AG8114A002. This solicitation is for a total of three (3) drop arm barriers. One drop arm barrier will be delivered but not installed (Attachment 1). The remaining two drop arm barriers will be two separate options which will require installation on the exercise of said options (Attachment 2). Currently, the government requires M30/K4 (15,000 lbs at 30 MPH) rated drop arm barriers requiring a 14ft to 16ft opening. Drop Arm Barrier purchases can only be from the approved Department of Defense's Anti-Ram Vehicle Barrier List (Attachment 3). As such, competition will be limited only to the products of the manufacturers that are authorized. Utilizing these requirements, only Autogate, Inc's "M-30 VP-SF" model and Tymetal Corporation's "Drop Arm Barrier" meet the required specifications. As such, the government will only consider quotes for the delivery and installation of said drop arm barriers. Notice to offerors: Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The government reserves the reight to cancel this solicitation either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government Cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. Quotations should be delivered electronically no later than 10 Sep 18 by 1400 EST.
