- Please see the attached documentation relating to this requirement of M62613-18-Q-0037-0002. The response due date is 06 Sept 2018, 0500PM Japan Standard Time. This is a Pre-Solicitation notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni intends to solicit and award a Firm Fixed Price contract for this requirement. This requirement is not Set-Aside for Small Businesses. Therefore, any responsible source may submit a quote. The FSC code is 6680 and the NAICS is 334514. Synopsis will be as follows. A separate written solicitation M62613-18-Q-0037-0002 will be issued as a Request for Quotation on or after 28 August 2018 Japan Standard Time (JST). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-83. Required Item and Descriptions are as follows; ITEM NO 0001: Oil Containment Boom ITEM NO 0002: Tow Bridle ITEM NO 0003: PAD Sheen CLIN NO 0004: PAD Diesel CLIN NO 0005: PAD Lube Fresh Crude CLIN NO 0006: Skimmer Backing Belt The Government intends to issue a single award to the responsible quoter whose quote is the most advantageous to the Government considering Technical Capability and Price with acceptable past performance. It is the quoter's responsibility to furnish sufficient information to the Government in order to determine acceptability of the quoted product. Therefore, the quoter shall submit complete technical information pertaining to their quoted product to certify complying with the Government requirement in order to determine technical acceptability. Quoters are instructed to completely fill out vender information and return them along with your quote. Failure to provide the required information, including estimated shipping charge, and attachment may result in your quote being considered non-responsive by the Government. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition. Responsible Offerors must be active in the System for Award Management (SAM) Registration in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004 unless you qualify under an exemption. DUNS, TIN and CAGE Code must be written on submitted offer. The solicitation (Request for Quotation), when released, will be available electronically at the following web sites http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ under solicitation M62613-18-Q-0037-0002. The solicitation also may be e-mailed upon a written request to the Point of Contact listed. Offers must be received no later than 06 September 2017, 0500pm specified Japan Standard Time (JST) on the solicitation closing date.
