Description

The Department of Veterans SAO Central, Network Contracting Office 10, located at 3140 Governor s Place Blvd., Suite 210, Kettering, OH 45409 intends to enter into a sole source purchase order agreement with the large business Sherwin-Williams, 2402 St Clair Ave, Cleveland, Ohio 44114-4011 under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. It is the belief of the Government the proposed candidate is the sole distributor of the Ci62 portable color eye and OC Software package, with the only approved patented color software approved for the medical facility & the Accutinter AT8000. The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 333912 and the Business Size Standard is 1,000 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. Interested parties may give written notice to LouAnn.Gilliland@va.gov by 12:00pm e.s.t. on August 27, 2018. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to meet the subject requirement. This information shall be provided at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses received from responsible sources by 4:00pm e.s.t. on August 28, 2018 will be considered by the Government. Inquiries shall be emailed to LouAnn.Gilliland@va.gov. No telephone requests will be accepted. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
