- Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source. The Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, JBSA - Fort Sam Houston, Texas intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price sole source contract to Merge Healthcare Systems under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.501(a)(1)(ii), sole source, to perform full service support, preventive maintenance of this Government owned merge equipment. These services must be performed by Merge Healthcare Systems as the software and maintenance services are proprietary to Merge Healthcare Systems. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 811219, Applications development and publishing. The Small Business Size Standard is 20.5M. Award will be made on or after 28 August 2018. The solicitation number is W81K0018Q0156, and is generated for the purposes of posting this notice. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. All responses received, to include capability statements, by 27 August 2018-11:00AM CST of the posting of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete the interim purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. Emails received claiming capability without providing additional detailed information, enough for the Government to make an independent determination of capability, will not be considered.
