Description

This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION notice for market research purposes only to determine the availability of qualified sources capable of providing equipment meeting the specifications described below. Responses should be provided via email to Laura.Watts@va.gov no later than 12:00pm central time on August 30, 2018. Responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. Please clearly identify any information to be considered sensitive or proprietary. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the market research. REQUIREMENTS: The Government is interested in sources to provide an endoscope storage/drying cabinet for Olympus flexible endoscopes meeting the following specifications Dimensions approximately 81 H x 52 W x 24 D 100-240 VAC +/- 10%, single phase, 50/60 HZ Power input 75W 120W Provides for horizontal storage Direct channel air flow with HEPA filtered air Air pressure must not exceed 0.5 MPa (5 kgf/cm2, 71 psig) Positive cabinet pressure Stores a minimum of 8 endoscopes Options for automated tracking of endoscope ID, operator ID, entry/removal times, storage times Industry standard warranty Installation Response must identify offered item s specifics based on the above. The NAICS code to be utilized for this acquisition will be 339113 Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing and the small business size standard applicable is 750 employees. Interested capable sources to provide: 1) Company name, address, point of contact, phone number, e-mail address, and DUNS number. 2) SAM registration and/or ORCA as evidence of size status. 3) Brief capability statement (no more than 5 pages) with enough information to clearly demonstrate the capability to provide the requirements, and information on past performance providing relevant items.
