- This is a Sources Sought announcement for market research purposes only. The information gained will be used to determine potential qualified contractors, preliminary planning, possibly set-side, and the method of acquisition. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS OR BIDS. Therefore, no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose other than market research. This requirement is for new Closed Circuit Television System (CCTV) Head End Server Equipment for the Capital Region Readiness Center (CRRC) in Martinsburg, WV. Specifically, the requirement will be for Pelco brand named specific equipment as follows: E1-VXS-48-US | VideoXpert Storage 48TB Capacity E1-CMG-SVR | VideoXpert Enterprise Core & Media Gateway Server A1-KBD-3D-KIT2 | VX Enhanced Keyboard and 3D Mouse Combination Kit VX-A3-AC | VideoXpert Accessory Server VX-A3-DEC | VX Enhanced DEC Interested parties, small or large organizations, should submit capability statements for this request via email to micah.kauzlarich@va.gov and todd.synder@va.gov by Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at 11am Eastern Time. Information to be provided must include, but is not limited to the following: Contractors information: Provide your firms contact information, such as, name and address of firm, phone number and e-mail address; Type of Business: Indicate business size as either a large business or socio-economic status; Business Relationship to the Original Equipment Manufacturer: Verification that a business relationship exists between the manufacturer and seller to ensure no gray market items are sold to the Government; Price: Standard unit price for each of the above items if offered in a competitive environment. Include quantity discounts if possible or any other applicable pricing information. NOTE: For the Contracting Officer to decide that a set-aside can perused, pricing information must be provided. Without this, the Contracting Office cannot make a valid determination that pricing can be received at a fair and reasonable price from socio economic concerns; and, Existing Contracting Vehicles: If the respondent has a GSA FSS contract or another applicable contract that provides these supplies, indicate so.
