- United States Department of Agriculture, Agriculture Research Service,in Beltsville, Maryland 20705, intends to award a sole source procurement - to the Large Business vendor: Agilent Technologies, Inc. - located at the following address: 2850 Centerville, Road BU3-2, Wilmington, Delaware 19808-1610. The following is the requirement Equipment to be acquired: AriaMX real-time PCR Instrument with optical cartridges SYBR/FAM, ROX, HEX, CY3, CY5 and HP laptop. To maintain consistency and comparability of research, it is essensial, that variation in technique be minimized. The AriaMX Real-Time PCR Instrument is a direct replacement for the real-time PCR Instrument previously used and will be compatible with existing reagents and consumables. The previous real-time PCR machine used was manufactured by Stratagene MX3000P. Agilent Technologies bought out Stratagene and the AriaMX Real-Time PCR Instrument is a direct replacement for the Stratagene MX3000P. Unique Qualifications/Nature of Acquisition: Fully integrated qPCR amplificaiton, detection, and data analysis system. Multiple, customizable data analysis algorithms.
