- Description
- Three, prime focus antenna feeds, each for f/D = 0.32, 0.38, and 0.4. Each feed must have dual circular polarization (Left Hand Circular Polarization/LCP and Right Hand Circular Polarization/RCP) receive capability for the frequency range of 1 - 16 GHz. Each feed must have eight ports: 1 port for 1-2 GHz LCP, I port for 1-2 GHz RCP, 1 port for 2-4 GHz LCP, 1 port for 2-4 GHz RCP, 1 port for 4-8 GHz LCP, 1 port for 4-8 GHz RCP, 1 port for 8-16 GHz LCP, and 1 port for 8-16 GHz RCP. The antenna feed must be designed and finished to operate outdoors, with an operating temperature range of-20 to 50 degrees Celsius and 100% relative humidity. The feed must also be capable of being pressurized to approximately 2 psi.
