Description

This is not a request for proposal nor a request for quote. There is no solicitation document available. This is a notice of intent issued by the VA to negotiate a limited source contract with L1 Enterprises IAW VAAR 819.7007 Sole Source Awards to a Verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. The VA intends to negotiate a limited source contract with verified SDVOSB L1 Enterprises. The contract will be for operating room video equipment as an upgrade to existing operating rooms at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in Chicago, IL. The equipment is included under an existing FSS contract but the VA intends to include items not on the FSS contract for administrative convenience IAW FAR 8.402(f), specifically the installation/integration of the equipment.   Information received in response to this special notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The determination to not compete the proposed acquisition is wholly within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not be responsible for paying for any of the costs incurred and associated with the development of any responses submitted to this notice. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 339113. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. All responses, to include questions or comments concerning this notice, must be submitted by email to Daniel Rasmussen by 2:00 PM CST, 30 August 2018.
