The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to search for small business concerns capable of providing Asbestos Abatement Services at the Royal C. Johnson Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY: This Sources Sought Notice is for market research purposes only and shall not be considered an Invitation for Bids, Request for Quotations, or a Request for Proposal or any other indication that the Government will award a contract for the items contained in this notice. Do not submit a proposal or quote. This market research is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation, nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. There is no obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services described in this notice. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any direct or indirect costs associated with submission of the information being requested or reimburse any expenses incurred for responses to this notice. Any contract that might be awarded based on information received or derived from this market research will be the outcome of a separate competitive process. DESCRIPTION OF CONTEMPLATED REQUIREMENT: The VA Sioux Falls Health Care System (VA SFHCS) has a recurring requirement for Asbestos Abatement Services. Consequently, the Network 23 Contracting Office (NCO 23) is considering publishing a requirement for the potential award of an Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Single-Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) vehicle with a one-year base period and four one-year option periods to a qualified firm possessing the capability and capacity to provide asbestos abatement, air monitoring, and asbestos debris removal. A draft Statement of Work (SOW) is attached hereto (At this time, dates and estimated dollar amounts are not firm and are provided for illustration purposes only). RESPONSE INFORMATION: Companies are encouraged to respond if they have the capability and/or capacity to provide all of the items in accordance with the Statement of Work by providing the following information: Company Name Point of Contact (name, address, telephone number and e-mail address) Website address (if applicable) DUNS number Capability Statement, no longer than three pages, describing the ability to provide all services necessary for asbestos abatement, air monitoring, and asbestos debris removal as described in the attached SOW Business size (i.e. large, small business, service disabled veteran owned, veteran owned, woman owned, disadvantaged, HubZone, or 8(a)) as applicable for NAICS Code 562910. If your company feels that this requirement can be fulfilled under a different NAICS Code, please provide the suggested NAICS Code and a rationale for the recommendation. Interested parties are encouraged to identify any ambiguities of, or possible enhancements to the SOW by including them separate page. Caution: Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted or competition sensitive information contained in their responses. Questions regarding this Sources Sought Notice will not be answered.
