- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following items: operational testing, upgrade, and modification of the F-35/Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Project THOR RF Threat Signal Simulator System. This requirement is sole sourced to Global Technology and Management Resources, Inc. (GTMR), 44145 Airport View Drive, Suite 102, Hollywood, MD, 20636, as the required support, software, and hardware must function with the software currently used by THOR. These services are being purchased on GSA contract GS-00F-080GA. In addition to the items described above, the Government will be purchasing open market items from the above identified contractor at a value exceeding $25,000.00 as ancillary items necessary to perform the requested work. Any firms believing that they can provide the ancillary items may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 15 days after the date of publication of this notice. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the services and without causing programmatic hardship. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Respond no later than 07 September 2018 via email to the Contract Specialist, Caitlan Johnson at caitlan.johnson@navy.mil and the Contracting Officer, Agapito Santana at agapito.santana@navy.mil via a Microsoft Word.doc or Acrobat Adobe.pdf file. Going forward, all new entities registering in GSA's System for Award Management (SAM), as well as existing registrations being updated or renewed, will require the submission of an original, signed notarized letter identifying the authorized Entity Administrator for the entity associated with the Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number. Effective June 11, 2018, entities who create or update their registration in SAM.gov to apply only for federal assistance opportunities such as grants, loans, and other financial assistance programs, have a notarized letter on file within 30 days of registration. Additionally, Effective June 29, 2018, all non-Federal entities who create or update their registration in SAM.gov, have a notarized letter on file within 30 days of registration. It is recommended that all interested parties be aware that processing this additional information may take several days and are proactive in maintaining the SAM registrations in an "Active" status as the government cannot award to an entity without an "Active" SAM registration. More information can be found at www.gsa.gov/samupdate.
