- Description
- This contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, management, supplies, communized linen and textile items, bulk delivery carts, transportation, and facilities necessary to perform Contractor Owned/Contractor Operated Bulk laundry linen services and tasks required for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 7). The requirement includes service for Standard, Non- Standard, and Customer Owned Goods estimated at 39,409,789. The estimate includes a base year and four one-year option periods for a total of five (5) years. The Government contemplates a single contract award, firm-fixed price, negotiated procurement. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards if determined to be in the best interest of the Government. Services will be paid as required for service used. The acquisition will be solicited under full and open competition without exclusion of sources. The applicable NAICS code is 812332 with a size standard of $38.5 Million. The product service code is S209. The anticipated release date of the RFP is August 29, 2018. Interested Vendors may direct questions to Kevin.Warren2@va.gov not later than 10 days after issuance of the solicitation. The Government will evaluate proposals and select the successful offeror using the best value approach. This process permits tradeoffs between non-cost factors and cost/price and allows the Government to accept other than the lowest priced proposal or other than the highest technically rated proposal to achieve a best value contract award based on established evaluation criteria. The service areas are identified below: Atlanta VA Medical Center, 1670 Clairmont Road, Decatur, GA 30033 Augusta VA Medical Center (Uptown Divison), 1 Freedom Way, Augusta, GA 30904 Augusta VA Medical Center (Downtown Division), 800 Balie Street, Augusta, GA 30904 and Augusta-Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC s) located in Athens, GA and Aiken, SC Carl Vinson VA Medical Center, 1826 Veterans Boulevard, Dublin, GA 31021 Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center, 109 Bee Street, Charleston, SC 29401 W.J.B. Dorn VA Medical Center, 6439 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, SC 29209 NOTE: THIS SOLICITATION WAS PREVIOUSLY POSTED UNDER RFP NUMBER 36C24718R0672. DUE TO THE ANTICIPATED AWARD DATE BEING IN FY 19 THE NEW RFP NUMBER WILL NOW BE 36C24719R0001.
