Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 has a requirement for Valet Parking Services. The contractor will park and/or provide assistance in parking to veteran patients only. Valet Parking Services will be performed five (5) days a week (Monday through Friday) from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST. There will be Government-provided wheelchairs available to transport patients to the clinics. The contractor shall be liable and responsible for providing patients with a valet claim check, securing keys, parking, delivering, and directing certain valet vehicles to and from the valet greeting area. The solicitation shall be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13.5. Place of Performance: The contract facility will be located at W.G. (Bill) Hefner VAMC, 1601 Brenner Avenue, Salisbury NC 28144. Period of Performance: Period of Performance for the resultant contract will be a one (1) year base period and four (4) one year option renewal periods, December 1, 2018 November 30, 2022 in strict accordance with all schedules, specifications, terms, and conditions and provisions of the contract solicitation. Type of Set-Aside: This acquisition is a 100 % Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. The applicable NAICS is 812930, Parking Lots and Garages, with a size standard of $38.5 Million. Contract Type: The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. A formal Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on or about August 23, 2018 via Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website via https://www.fbo.gov/. All potential offerors are responsible for monitoring and downloading all documents including amendments at the FedBizOpps website without further notification from the Contracting Officer. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the following: SAM database at https://www.sam.gov Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) must be registered and verified in VetBiz.
