- Notice of Intent THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE - This is a Notice of The Government's intent to negotiate a sole source award to PathSensors, Inc. pursuant to the statutory authority under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(2), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 6.302-1. The Department of Defense (DoD), Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), Acquisition Directorate, (AD) intends to award on a sole source basis to PathSensors, Inc., Cage Code - 5VSU2, 701 E. Pratt Street, Baltimore, MD 21202. The Government anticipates a single award contract for the following: 1. A follow-on contract for continued delivery of TCAN B-cell reagents. The Justification and Approval (J&A) will be posted to the FBO website. The follow-on contract will be for a 1-year Base Period and four 1-year Option Periods for a total of five (5) years. 2. This support is essential as the TCAN technology uses the B-cells to provide biological threat detection and identification for the Pentagon. The TCAN technology is a customized biological detection system used to provide a detect-to-protect biological detection capability. The production of TCAN b-cells is licensed solely to PathSensors, Inc. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. For any questions concerning this notice, please send inquiries to andrea.m.montgomery.civ@mail.mil. All information submitted should support the offerors capability to provide the services required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. The Government reserves the right to cancel the Sole Source Award.
