Description
Amendment 0001: In an effort to refine our market research and develop our acquisition strategy, we are asking potential vendors more pointed questions. For planning purposes, the Government's priority of delivering to the field is: 1. Top and bottom wet weather; 2. Top and bottom extreme cold uniform; and 3. Top and bottom base layer. The Government anticipates releasing a combined synopsis/solicitation the last week of August. Responses to this amendment are due Monday, August 27th at 4:00PM Eastern Time. Please email answers to these questions to mary.k.prebensen.civ@mail.mil and william.d.causey7.civ@mail.mil. Please see below: 1. Are you able to submit a proposal to a RFP within a ten day window to respond? 2. Are you able to manufacture all three items? 3. If not, do you have established partnerships with other manufacturers to allow for a submittal of a single bid for all three garments? 4. If you're interested in being a teaming partner on this project, please register in the Interested Vendors tab and clearly identify your area of interest. 5. Are you able to produce the three garment types concurrently? 6. Would you be able to deliver the final garments within 3 months of contract award? 7. Would you be able to deliver the final garments within 4 months of contract award? If you didn't respond to the initial Sources Sought Notice and have not already provided a capability package, please do so in addition to answering these questions.
