Description

The Veterans Affairs Mid-Atlantic Healthcare Region (VISN 6) Network Contracting Office, for the Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to procure a Zero Gravity Hinged Swing Arm for their Electrophysiology (EP) Lab. The award is to be made to BIOTRONIK Inc. 6024 Jean Road Lake Oswego, OR 97035. NAICS code 334510 applies to this procurement. The proposed purchase order action is to procure a Zero Gravity Hinged Swing Arm and install the equipment for patient safety. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements per FAR 6.302. This notice of Intent is not a request for quotations. Interested persons may identify their interest in this requirement no later than 10:00 AM EST, August 22, 2018 to: Audrey.wooten@va.gov. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. No solicitation will be made available. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
