Description
W911YN18Q5030 Sunshade Solicitation and PWS Aircraft Sunshade Inspection, Maintenance, and Repair Services The Period of Performance shall include a one-year base period and four one-year option periods. Preventative Maintenance is the basis of Air Force's policy for aircraft sun shade sustainment. The Government's objective is to maintain safe and reliable aircraft sunshades. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary to perform Aircraft Sunshade Inspection Services, Maintenance, and Repair Services. The Contractor shall Inspect, Report, Document. Inspect for, report and document the following: Inherent structural weakness, Corrosion, Improper installation, Design defect, Electrical defect, Weather (turbulence) related damage, Improper use, Destruction, Failure (signs of or evidence of electrical, structural, or mechanical failure), Severed items, Evidence of stress / buckling /fatigue /etc., Fabric tears/rips/rot/etc., Missing or loose hardware, Wildlife intrusion, Other discrepancies. The contractor will develop and maintain a Preventative Maintenance Plan (PMP) to include how aircraft sunshade configurations shall be maintained and perform preventive maintenance of aircraft sun shades in accordance with the PMP.
