- An oral request for quotation will be solicited for the following item as unrestricted: Floor End Section, MGPTS, NSN: 8340-01-477-1397 QTY 500 & Fllor Intermediate section, MGPTS NSN: 8340-01-491-1449 QTY 220 for a total quantity of: 720 Delivery destination VSTJ (Distribution Depot Pendergrass, Pendergrass, GA). Submittal of a First Article is required 60 days after date of award. The RFQ document can be obtained by contacting Phillip Reuwer by email at Phillip.Reuwer@DLA.Mil. This document will be available until August 22, 2018. Oral quotations will be requested at the same time of this announcement. The closing date for oral quotations will be August 22, 2018. Delivery is 120 days after date of award. Submittal of first article is required 60 days after date of award. The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as "The Berry Amendment") impose restrictions on the DoD's acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012), including the materials and components thereof (other than sensors, electronics, or other items added to, and not normally associated with clothing), must be grown, reproduced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
