Description
The US Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, intends to obtain one (1) aluminum hull air boat for the Jacksonville District. The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, inspections, personnel, equipment, tools, supplies, materials, transportation and other items necessary to perform the following: One time purchase of one (1) aluminum hull air boat, 14' length with a 10" splash fin at the top of the transom. Transom height: 22" at side and 21" at middle. Reflects a 3 inch drop in the middle of the transom due to slope of bottom of hull. Width of stern: 71" at the bottom and 87.5" at the gunnels. Stingers: Inside bottom of the boat will have at least 5 stringers. Bow: 69 inches across. Engine: Lycoming 0540 straight valve engine with two bladed polymer composite prop, cowling, and all controls fully set up to run. Engine stands and all structures will be built out of stainless steel with pancake style cage. Boat will be equipped with a two battery set up with a perko battery selector switch, or equivalent switch mounted in an easily accessible area. A bilge pump (minimum 500 gph) will also be installed and wired into a switch on the control panel. Boat will be equipped with a safety flag which meets Florida regulatory standards. Delivery Date(s): 60 days after award date Pre Work Meeting - All Contractors will be required to attend a Pre Work Meeting on a date TBD to assess and measure a spray airboat that is currently be utilized by USACE for spray operations
