Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration (NCA), intends to solicit proposals from contractors to perform Maintenance Building Breakroom Improvements construction services for the following Cemetery location: San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery 32053 West McCabe Road Santa Nella, CA 95322 The VA anticipates issuing a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for this requirement around the week of August 20, 2018. Proposals will be accepted for approximately 20 days commencing with the issuance date of this solicitation. Interested Offerors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation and any subsequent amendments) from the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website, as no hard copies will be made available. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) and in Veterans Information Pages (VIP) VIP registration is required for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses or Veteran Owned Small Businesses) database (when applicable), under the applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS). Contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov and Veterans Information Pages (VIP) information at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov. To be eligible for award, contractors must have a current registration in the System for Award Management database. Registration is free and potential offerors are encouraged to visit the SAM website as no IDCs can be awarded to any offeror not registered in SAM. NAICS Code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building with a size standard in dollars at $36.5 million. The classification code is Y1AZ - Construction of Other Administrative Facilities and Service Buildings. The solicitation will be issued as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. Multiple awards are/are not anticipated and will be made on an as needed basis. All responsible sources may submit proposals for consideration by the National Cemetery Administration Contracting Service. Interested offerors can review the complete Scope of Work for this project in Sources Sought Notice (#36C78618Q9659) on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) portal. The date of issuance for the Sources Sought is August 15, 2018 with a close date of August 21, 2018. Interested SDVOSB concerns are encouraged respond with their interest and provide their company s capability statement information.
