Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice and not a request for quotes or proposals. The North Texas VA Health Care System (NTVAHCS), located at 4500 S. Lancaster Rd., Dallas, TX 75216, intends to enter into a firm-fixed-price award for the purchase of a PX Flat Panel Wireless Detector. The acquisition will take place under the authority of either FAR Part 8 Required Sources of Supplies and Services, or FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items, and Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334510 Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing. Any firms who wish to identify their interests and capability to provide this equipment must notify the Contract Specialist no later than 4:00 PM EST (3:00 PM CST), 08/20/2018. Such notification must include any documentation that includes certifications and description of equipment that meets or exceeds the capabilities needed. Notification shall be e-mailed or faxed to Jessica Roman, Contract Specialist, jessica.roman@va.gov, fax: 432-517-4586. Upon receipt of any such notifications, the Contracting Officer will determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Please note that all items must be new; refurbished or used items will not be accepted. Contractors must be manufacturer authorized distributors/deals; no grey market items will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
