Description

The Pittsburg VA Medical Center has a need for a Fabric Roof Structure. See Statement of Need and drawings attached. If interested a site visit must be conducted for proper estimate, please contact Nicholas Snyder Nicholas.snyder2@VA.GOV This is neither a solicitation nor a promise of future, the government is seeking all interested vendors; and specifically, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) in accordance with Vets First and the Rule of 2 (Kingdomware decision). If interested, please provide: All SDVOSB and VOSB firms that respond shall include proof of CVE certification via www.vip.vetbiz.gov. All small business firms that respond shall include proof of small business status via their Representations and Certifications in accordance with (FAR 4.1102 Policy). While SDVOSB/VOSB contractors are preferred, all capable contractors are welcome to respond to this sources sought notice for market research purposes, and shall include a capability statement with your submission. Please reply with the following: The veteran business must be registered in SAM and certified in VETBIZ (VIP). The small businesses must be registered in SAM. All Vendors interested in, and with the capability and capacity to fulfill this requirement, are required to furnish the following minimum information in reply to this sources sought: Company Name,, address, Government Business Point of Contact, telephone number and email address. Company DUNS number, CAGE Code, and Tax ID numbers. Identify any current Federal Supply Schedule, GSA Contracts held, if none then state that no FSS/GSA schedules are held. Responses shall be submitted electronically, via email to Nicholas Snyder Nicholas.snyder2@va.gov due no later Friday 08/17/2018 at 1:00 pm. 1.Title of Project:  Fabric Roof Structure 2.Scope of Work: A constructed Roof installed and assembled Salient Characteristics: Requirements for Salt Bin Roof 25 -9 Wide X 16 Long X 12 -9.5 Center Height Quonset. Structure sits on 15 tall, 10 thick walls. Overall height is 27 -9.5 18 oz. PVC vinyl fabric with polyester scrim. Fabric Color: WHITE. Fabric to meet all appropriate national, state and local building codes. Frame members: 2.5 heavy wall galvanized tubular steel truss design. All weld joints coated with 97% zinc cold gal for corrosion protection. Trusses are on 4 centers. Fabric terminates at concrete level. A skirt layers on the concrete. Anchors are to be included for an existing concrete foundation. 3.Type of Contract: 4. Delivery: University Drive, Campus-University Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15240 The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. The North American Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 532490 (size standard to be considered small business is 1,500 employees). Notice to Potential Offerors: All Offerors who provide goods or services to the United States Federal Government must be registered in the System Award Management (SAM located on the web at www.sam.gov). It is desirable that any Offeror to have completed their business Online Representations and Certifications Application in the System for Award Management (SAM). Additionally, all companies that are distributors must have a manufacturers letter stating that they are an authorized distributor or reseller to prevent any Gray Market warranty issues.
