Description

Special Notice. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10 intends to award a sole source purchase order to Biomerieux, Inc. for the purchase of Vitek Clinical MS Plus System with license, software, warranty, and accessories for use at the Dayton VA Medical Center, 4100 West Third Street, Dayton, OH 45428-9000. Determination of this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 8.405-6(b) Items peculiar to one manufacturer. It is the Government s belief that the proposed candidate is the only provider of the proprietary surgical supplies. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any business that believes it can provide the supplies may submit written notice to Myron.Carson@va.gov by 4:00pm EST on August 17, 2018. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Responses will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. NAICS Code 334516 Analytic Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing. Responses received from responsible sources by 4:00pm EST on August 17, 2018 will be considered by the Government.
