Description

Special Notice. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 intends to award a sole source purchase order to Welch Allyn, INC. for the Connex wireless vital sign monitoring system and licenses for use at the Salem VA Medical Center, 1970 Roanoke Blvd. Salem, VA 24153. Determination of this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) Soliciting from a single source. It is the Government s belief that the proposed candidate is the only provider of the Connex wireless vital sign monitoring system and licenses. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any business that believes it can provide Connex wireless vital sign monitoring system and licenses may give written notice to Ronnie.Gregory@va.gov by 12:00 noon e.s.t. on August 17, 2018. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Responses will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. NAICS Code 339112 received from responsible sources by 12:00 noon e.s.t. on August 17, 2018 will be considered by the Government. Inquiries shall be emailed to Ronnie.Gregory@va.gov. No telephone request will be accepted.
