Salient Characteristics for Zoll R Series Defibrillator Upgrade: The BVAMC must upgrade Qnty. 2 Zoll R Series Defibrillators with SPO2, EtCO2, and NIBP functionality to conform to existing fleet. Pulse Oximetry (SPO2) Module Salient Characteristics: Pulse Oximetry (SPO2) Module must be compatible with Zoll R Series Defibrillator. Pulse Oximetry (SPO2) Module must use Zoll/Masimo LNCS sensors. Pulse Oximetry (SPO2) Module option must continuously and noninvasively measure the oxygen saturation of arteriolar hemoglobin at a peripheral site (e.g., foot, toe, or finger). Pulse Oximetry (SPO2) Module must display the following pulse oximetry information in the SPOW area on the Zoll R Series Defibrillator: SpO2 value (arterial oxygen saturations percentage) SpO2 alarm indicator Signal strength indicator Plethysmogram Pulse Oximetry (SPO2) Module must allow the following adjustments to the SpO2 Settings on the Zoll R Series Defibrillator: Sensitivity level Measurement averaging period Plethysmogram display SpO2 alarm state and limits Technical Specification Minimums: Saturation Range (%SpO2): 1% to 100% Saturation resolutions: 1% Saturation accuracy: No-motion conditions (Adult): 70% to 100%, ±2% Motion conditions (Adult): 70% to 100%, ±3% Saturation alarm limits: On/Off displayed on monitor; operator-selectable Low limit: 70% to 98% High limit: 72% to 100% SpO2 Wavelength: Nominal Red LED Wavelength: 660 nanometers Nominal Infrared LED Wavelength: 905 nanometers Pulse rate range: 25 to 240 beats per minute Pulse rate resolution: 1 beat per minute Pulse rete accuracy: No-motion conditions: 25 to 240 beats per minute, ±3 beats per minute Motion conditions: 25 to 240 beats per minute, ±5 beats per minute Pulse rate alarm limits: On-Off displayed on monitor; operator selectable Low limit: 20 to 100 beats per minute High limit: 60 to 235 beats per minute End Tidal Carbon Dioxide (EtCO2) Module Salient Characteristics: End Tidal Carbon Dioxide (EtCO2) Module must be compatible with Zoll R Series Defibrillator. End Tidal Carbon Dioxide (EtCO2) Module must be compatible with Zoll/Respironics Novametrix CARNOSTAT 5 sensors and LoFlo modules, airway adapters, nasal and nasal/oral cannula sets. End Tidal Carbon Dioxide (EtCO2) Module option be indicated for the continuous noninvasive monitoring of end tidal carbon dioxide (EtCO2) and respiration rate in patient requiring ventilator support, in-hospital transport, or anesthesia. End Tidal Carbon Dioxide (EtCO2) Module must support two methods for continuous measurement of end tidal carbon dioxide (EtCO2) and respiration rate. Use of CAPNOSTAT 5 Mainstream CO2 sensor attached to an airway adapter that connects to an endotracheal tube, mask or disposable mouthpiece. Use of LoFlo CO2 module to monitor both non-intubated and intubated patients using specially designed sampling cannulas and airway adapters. End Tidal Carbon Dioxide (EtCO2) Module must display the following End Tidal Carbon Dioxide (EtCO2) information in the CO2 display area on the Zoll R Series Defibrillator: CO2 value in mmHg Respiratory Rate CO2 alarm indicator Capnogram Technical Specification Minimums: Transducer Type: Mainstream Side stream Principle of Operation: Non-Dispersive Infrared (NDIR) single beam optics, dual wavelength, no moving parts. EtCO2 Measurement Range: 0-150 mmHg 0-20% 0-20 kPa EtCO2 Accuracy: 0-40 mmHg, ±2 mmHg 41-70 mmHg, ±5% of actual 71-100 mmHg, ±8% of actual 101-150 mmHg, ±10% of reading Respiration Rate Range: 2-150 breaths per minute Respiration Rate Accuracy: ±1 breaths per minute EtCO2 Alarm Limits: User selectable High: 5-100 mmHg Low: 0-95 mmHg OFF Respiration Rate (RR) Alarm Limits: User selectable High: 5-150 respirations per minute Low: 0-100 respirations per minute OFF Non-Invasive Blood Pressure (NIBP) Salient Characteristics: Non-Invasive Blood Pressure (NIBP) Module option must be compatible with Zoll R Series Defibrillator. NIBP Module option must use Zoll supplied or specified cuffs, hoses and connectors. NIBP Module option be indicated for the non-invasive measurement of arterial blood pressure for resting patients in critical care and in-hospital transport. NIBP Module option must perform the following functions: Take a single blood pressure measurement Take a STAT measurement (up to 10 measurements with 5 minutes) Take repeated measurements at user-programmable intervals Immediately abort any measurement in progress by pressing one button. Set the cuff inflation pressure to adjust automatically based on the previously measured systolic value. Display systolic, diastolic and mean blood pressure on the screen. Configure alarms to go off when the unit detects blood pressure values above or below user-programmable limits. Display a history of NIBP measurement taken in the last 4 hours. Interface with strip recorder provided with the Zoll R Series Defibrillator to document events and data. Technical Specification Minimums: NIBP Measure Range (Adult Patient): Systolic: 40-260 mmHg Diastolic: 20-200 mmHg Mean: 30-220 mmHg NIBP Measurement Cycle Time: Typical: 30 seconds Maximum: 180 seconds Pulse Rate Range: 30-220 pulses per minute Alarm Limits (Adult Patient: Systolic: High: 80-260 mmHg Low: 40-140 mmHg Diastolic: High: 50-200 mmHg Low: 25-100 mmHg Mean: High: 60-220 mmHg Low: 30-120 mmHg Charging Station Salient Characteristics: Charging Station and Rechargeable Lithium Ion Battery Pack must be compatible with Zoll R Series Defibrillator. Charging Station must have a minimum of four charging bays. Charging Station must be multiple chemistry compatible. Charging Station must have a 200-watt capacity. Charging station must have a graphic driven user interface Charging station must have an RS-232 Communication port Rechargeable Lithium Ion Battery Pack must have a 5.8 Ah capacity. Rechargeable Lithium Ion Battery Pack must have high density lithium ion chemistry. Rechargeable Lithium Ion Battery Pack must have a run time (battery life) indicator Rechargeable Lithium Ion Battery Pack must be automatic calibration ready Rechargeable Lithium Ion Battery Pack must store history of use and maintenance.
