Description

This market survey notice is a sources sought for information ONLY, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. NO proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. Any costs associated with the market survey submittal or any follow up information requests are solely at the interested vendor ™s expense. This Market Survey is for contractor support to provide Contractor Depot Logistics Support (CDLS), LRU and Test Equipment Support and Repair Services, Vendor (COTS) equipment repair management and Engineering Services, for the WAAS Program. The contractor is responsible for providing WAAS Depot Life Cycle Logistics Support, management of vendors (COTS) repairs, specialized electronic equipment LRU repair, spares support, and supply support using the FAA ™s Logistics Center Supply Support (LCSS). The contractor will provide the Program Management Office with a Monthly Logistics Report detailing field and depot preventative and corrective maintenance activities, Quarterly Operational Status Reports (QOSR) on the WAAS system, and site Reliability, Availability, Maintainability (RAM) and Supportability statistics. The contractor will support and maintain the Repair Parts and Special Tools (RPSTL) for the depot, and the long lead parts procurement, and supply. Contractor shall provide to the government a CAPABILITIES DOCUMENT which should demonstrate their abilities in handling the engineering support, depot repair support, and field maintenance analytical support required to support the WAAS system. The capabilities document should indicate any other systems and contracts on which they perform similar depot management tasks. Also, the FAA is seeking feedback on the attached Statement of Work (which is in draft status). All questions, concerns, and clarification requests specific to the SOW must be made in writing and submitted to 9-AWA-AAQ-CDLSNAV@faa.gov via e-mail not later than 2:00 PM EST on 8 October 2018. Electronic submission of questions and comments must be submitted to 9-AWA-AAQ-CDLSNAV@faa.gov. Electronic mail attachments, if included, must be prepared using Microsoft Office Products. When submitting questions and comments, please refer to the specific text of the SOW (i.e. Section and Page Number). 2. Incumbent Contractor The incumbent contractor for this procurement is Raytheon Inc. Fullerton, CA, Contract DTFAWA-14-C-00060. 3. Nature of Competition The FAA will use the information gathered from this market survey for planning purposes and in determining the nature of this potential competition. This notice is does not bid the FAA to solicit for a future procurement. 5.
