Interested contractors should watch for the issuance of the solicitation which will have specific instructions and requirements associated with this procurement. The Solicitation will be unrestricted with no set-asides The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on or after August 15, 2018. The Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), Fayetteville, 2300 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC has a requirement for a contractor to provide residential treatment for homeless veterans (men, women, and families) as a part of the Health Care for Homeless Veterans (HCHV) Program. These services will provide 24/7 room and board for approximately 3 to as many as 15 homeless veterans, transportation services, medication management, budgeting assistance, personal hygiene assistance, and intensive clinical case management services by a licensed mental health professional. The contract facility will be located within the Fayetteville community or within a 50-mile radius of the VAMC The government anticipates a firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract for a twelve (12) month base period and four (4) twelve-month option periods, if exercised. The requirement will be have a base period of service 20 September 2018 to 19 September 2019 for the Fayetteville VA Medical Center 2300 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC with four (4), if exercised, option periods beginning September 26, 2019. The essential goal of the HCHV program is to reduce homelessness among veterans by conducting outreach to those who are the most vulnerable and not currently receiving services. This program also engages the veterans in treatment and rehabilitative programs. These services will provide 24/7 room and board for approximately 3 and as many as 15 homeless veterans, transportation services, medication management, budgeting assistance, personal hygiene assistance, and intensive clinical case management services by a licensed mental health professional. The NAICS Code for this procurement 623220 - Residential Mental Health and Substance Abuse Facilities, with a maximum small business size standard of $15.0 Million. All interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov) and a veteran business must be verified in VIP (www.VIP.VETBIZ.VA.gov) as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) or Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) prior to submitting a Quote.
