Description

The 502d Contracting Squadron at JBSA-Randolph, TX intends to award a single source purchase order to Cartiva, Inc., 6120 Windward Parkway Ste. 220, Alpharetta, GA 30005-4185, (Cage Code: 7KZ61) under the authority of FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The proposed contract action is for two (2) each foot Implant devices, Mfg; Cartiva, Inc. Model No. CAR-8MM-US, and Model No. CAR-10MM-US. The clinical physician, who has the onus of selecting the most appropriate foot implant device to fit the particular patient, has requested the Cartiva, Inc foot implant. The clinical physician has determined purchasing this particular brand of implant will facilitate the highest medical care for the WHASC patient. Please see attached Single Source Justification for further details. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 339113, and the small business size standard is 750 EMP. While the intent of the Government is to award single source to Cartiva, Inc. responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which will be considered by the agency. Responses must be received by the Government no later than August 15, 2018, 10:00 P.M. (CST). A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement action based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government.
