- USTRANSCOM Acquisition Directorate plans to conduct a Universal Service Contract (USC)-9 Pre-Solicitation Conference 13 September 2018 from 0900-1500. The Pre-Solicitation Conference will be held at the MITRE Corp. Building at 505 Corp Center Rd, Shiloh, IL 62221 (Corner of Route 158/Air Mobility Dr & Sibert Rd). Pre-Solicitation Conference will provide an opportunity to discuss questions and concerns with the (USC)-9 Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). The agenda for the event will be posted via FedBizOpps prior to the Pre-Solicitation Conference. Due to size limitations of conference area, each Carrier will be limited to sending 2 representatives to the meeting. If you plan to attend the meeting, please RSVP to Lauren Langhauser( lauren.a.langhauser.civ@mail.mil NLT 24 Aug 18. The Government will not provide any reimbursement for attending this Pre-Solicitation general session. The Government is neither negotiating nor calling for offers at this time. USC-9 contract is limited to vessel owning/operating carriers as determined under Federal Maritime Law. MITRE Corp facility restricts access to U.S. citizens only, unless given a minimum of 10 bussiness days notice to process facility security requirements. If any foreign national will be in attendance, prior approval and coordination is required. (Note: A minimum of 10 business days advanced notice is required, limited access, as well as continuous escorting are mandatory). If approved, foreign national visitors are prohibited from bringing in cell phones, smartphones, blackberries; FitBits, photographic, video, translation or sound recording devices; laptops, tablets, thumb drives; and any other type of media capable of uploading, downloading, printing, recording, transmitting, or electronically storing. This announcement constitutes a Request for Feedback only; there is no solicitation at this time. The Government is neither negotiating nor calling for offers at this time.
