THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. No telephone calls will be accepted requesting a bid package or solicitation. There is no bid package or solicitation. In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement, if any, that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the technical point of contact will not be given and no appointments for presentations will be made. NAVFAC SE is seeking qualified and interested parties in any of the following categories: small business; U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) certified 8(a) business development participants; SBA certified HUBZone small business concerns; service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) concerns; veteran-owned small business (VOSB) concerns; and women-owned small business (WOSB) concerns. Potential sources shall demonstrate they have current relevant experience and capability to provide services through one Hazardous Waste Disposer as summarized below: The contractor employee shall provide regulated (i.e., hazardous, non-hazardous, universal) waste disposal services to tenant commands, military vessels, contractors, and other environmental professionals to ensure compliance with the installation ™s Large Quantity Generator (LQG) status and Part B Hazardous Waste Storage Facility (HWSF) permit. Disposal services include assistance in identifying, collecting, processing, handling, stabilizing, neutralizing, packaging, labeling, transporting, storing, and consolidating, and/or separating nonhazardous and hazardous waste in preparation for disposal. Work will be performed at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, TX. Any resulting task order will be firm-fixed price. The task order term will be for a six month base period with one six-month option period. The primary NAICS Code is 562112, Hazardous Waste Collection, with a small business size standard of $38.5M. Submission Package: Interested sources are invited to respond to this sources sought announcement by submitting the following information: 1.Contractor Information: Provide your firm ™s contact information, to include DUNS and Cage Code numbers. 2.Indicate if a solicitation is issued will your firm/company be submitting a proposal: _____ Yes ______No. 3.Type of Business: Please indicate your company ™s size status under NAICS Code 541330 (i.e.small business, HUBZONE, etc.). For more information on the definitions or requirements for this type of small business program, refer to http://www.sba.gov. 4.Experience Submission Requirements: Submit a minimum of one contract or task order that demonstrate prior experience providing similar services. Submissions shall contain the following items (a “ f) for each project submitted for consideration. a.Include Contract Number, if applicable b.Indicate whether Prime contractor or Subcontractor c.Contract Value d.Date of Contract Award e.Completion Date f.Government/Agency point of contact and current telephone number. g.Project Description. Include a brief description, with sufficient detail, to determine whether this contract action is similar and how the contract referenced relates to the service description herein. Capability Statements consisting of appropriate documentation, literature, brochures will be accepted provided it contains ALL the information required above (items 1-4). Complete submission package shall not exceed 10 pages. The Government will use responses to this sources sought announcement to make appropriate acquisition decisions. The capabilities statement for this sources sought is not expected to be a proposal, but rather short statements regarding the company ™s ability to demonstrate existing-or-developed expertise and experience in relation to the areas specified herein. Submission of capabilities statement is not a prerequisite to any potential future offerings, but participation will assist the Government in tailoring requirements to be consistent with industry capabilities.
