RFI: FA9302-18-R-6201 Agency/Office: Air Force Enterprise Division Location: Edwards AFB, CA Title: ACU-802 Lease Description(s): REQUEST FOR INFORMATION FOR LEASING AIR CONDITIONING UNITS 802 THIS IS A MARKET SURVEY FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPISIS. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS SYNOPSIS IS TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF POTENTIALLY QUALIFIED SOURCES AND THEIR SIZE CLASSICATIONS (SMALL BUSINESS, LARGE BUSINESS, ETC.). PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION, AS ONE DOES NOT EXIST. 1. Purpose. This is a sources sought synopsis for leasing air conditioning units-802. This effort will provide ground cooling stations for military aircraft. The potential NAICS Code for this acquisition is 333415. Please supply an alternate NAICS if you feel another NAICS is applicable. 2. Requirement. Lease Qty. (2) ACU-802 units • Cooling capacity: minimum 404 kW • Single outlet airflow: 400lbs per minute • Dual outlet airflow: 700lbs per minute • Capacity control: Automatic • Cooling air temperature: 70 degrees or below • Air conditioning carts will be required to be delivered/picked-up to/from Edwards AFB, CA. • All maintenance or required inspections will be performed by contractor. • Basic servicing of fuel or required fluids will be accomplished by Edwards AFB. • Any refrigerate that needs to be serviced will be supplied by the contractor. • If units break, contractor will have 3 days from notification, to send a technician to repair the unit, at no additional costs to the government. 3. Information requested. The Government requests interested offerors that can fully support this requirement furnish the following information: A. Company name, address, points of contact, phone numbers and e-mail addresses. B. Information should include a brief description of experience in providing the type of supply. The information package must be clear, concise, and complete. The Air Force is under no obligation to provide feedback to the company, or to contact the company for clarification of any information submitted in response to this request. C. Identification of business size (small or large) and identify the socioeconomic disadvantaged category, as defined the Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 19 and also currently listed in the System for Award Management (SAM). Small business size standards are published by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). The potential North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes assigned to this procurement is 333415 "Air-Conditioning and Warm Air Heating Equipment and Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturing". The Small Business Size Standard is 1,250 employees. D. Any other information deemed useful to the Air Force. Information packages should be limited to no more than 3 pages. 4. Inquiries. This acquisition shall provide all resources to supply the requirement. Any qualified and interested companies responding to this announcement must be able to support all areas. NO partial support responses from industry will be accepted. All interested offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code. As well as, be registered in SAM to be eligible for contract award or payment from any Department of Defense activity. Information on registration and annual confirmation requirements may be obtained at (https://sam.gov). All responses shall be forwarded to Katie Hudiburgh at katie.hudiburgh@us.af.mil. The due date and time for responses to this synopsis is 3:00pm Pacific Standard Time on 06 August 2018.
