- Draft PWS for Giant Voice upgrade. The purpose of the sources sought is to identify available authorized businesses that shall provide necessary equipment to upgrade (7) UVTDH (UltraVoice) poles and (1) UltraVoice trailer to include dual AC/solar siren controller, radio/antenna, and sirens to its most up-to-date configuration, upgrade (1) Commander Control station to include up-to-date software, install (1) SS2000+ control station with necessary equipment including antenna, radio, cabling, and up-to-date firmware, install (1) Commander Control station, and to provide project management of the contract throughout its duration. Contractor will perform necessary maintenance to provide system optimization to ensure readily available and clear Giant Voice communications to Fairchild AFB. Contractor will also provide on-site training to radio troops in the operations and maintenance of the system. Sources Sought: The 92d Contracting Squadron is issuing this sources sought seeking to identify responsible potential sources to upgrade the existing Fairchild AFB Giant Voice system. We believe this procurement is a sole source requirement to Federal Signal, but we are looking for other qualified vendors. The NAICS Code is 334310, PSC/FSC is 5830, with a small business size standard 750 Employees. This sources sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only. Pricing information is not being requested at this time. It does not constitute a solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the government. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. All interested parties shall be required to respond to the resultant solicitation separately from their response to this sources sought notice. A responsible potential source shall have registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). Responders to this notice need to provide their business category (small or large). The response should be one page providing the following information: business name and address, CAGE code, size classification, Socioeconomic classification based on NAICS size standard and a point of contact. Additionally, include a one page attachment outlining the company's authorization and capabilities of performing service and maintenance outlined in the attached draft SOW. The attachment should show evidence of your experience in work similar in type and scope to include; contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and points of contact.
