Description
TE350, IN225, IN250: BICSI Training Courses BICSI's courses are 4.5-day courses (8 a.m.-5 p.m.) and offer 35 continuing education credits (CECs) each. It is 5.5 days for students planning to take the credential exam. The optional exam is conducted in two parts: the hands-on exam is on Friday afternoon, and the written exam is on Saturday morning. Course subjects include; optical fiber-based structured cabling system installation, copper-based structured cabling system installation and the skillset of a structured cabling systems technician. BICSI Supplies Reference manuals (TIA/EIA Standards, National Electrical Code books, BICSI Telecommunications Distribution Methods manuals and Network Design Reference manuals) will be available in the classroom during course time. Approximately one ton of mobile lab equipment, student workbooks, lab racks, ladders, tools and consumables will be provided for use in lab exercises. Also BICSI provides all audio visual equipment including laptop computer, data/video projector, projector screen, flipchart and easels, markers, and power cords; and classroom materials including workbooks, pencils, writing pads and certificate of attendance. Program Sponsor Will Provide • Training room (minimum of 1000 square feet unobstructed) • Classroom temperature should be between 68-74 degrees Fahrenheit • Sufficient table space per participant: 2 students per 6'x30" table with a comfortable chair per student • Instructor head table and chair • Two 6' x 30" tables at rear of room for equipment and work/demo area • 12' x 4' space at front and rear of room for training racks
