- Description
- This project specifies the following work: Renovation of the master bathroom, base area approx. 7 m2, Building # 110. It is located on the second floor of the Historical Forester's Lodge which is under monumental protection. The bathroom consists of a shower, a bathtub, a double washbasin with mirror-cabinet and a wall-mounted toilet. Execution of the following work on the second floor: 1. Provision of a dust and safety wall separating the residential area from the job site. The building will be occupied. 2. Dismount the existing built-in components (radiator, ceiling fixtures, the toilet brush holder, wall brackets, light switches, receptacles, etc.) as well as the shower, the bathtub, the wall-mounted toilet, the double washbasin including fittings and angle valves. Furthermore, dismount the wall and floor tiles as well as the wooden ceiling. 3. Deliver and install a new suspended ceiling, the wall and floor tiles and the bathroom furniture. Provide front-wall for the installation of the new toilet. Deliver and install a new shower (walk-in design) with "ESG" glazing on one side (single-pane safety glass). Install a platform for the pre-installation of the hot, cold and sewer pipes. Construct the platform for the new shower tub with hard-foam panels and a prefabricated hard-foam element designed for the placement of a channel drain. Close idle sewer pipes. 4. Connect the new ceiling light-fixtures, the recess illumination, and the mirror light fixtures. Replace the existing electrical lines which are partially flush-mounted in the masonry or located above the suspended ceiling. Note: During the entire construction process, the residents will continue living in the building, possibly resulting in obstructions for the contractor. Take all precautionary measures to guarantee job site safety. Remove construction debris as well as most of the old bath furnishings via the existing window and dispose of. In the same way, transport most of the new bath furnishings to the job site via the existing window. During the construction period, provide a small freight elevator intended for this purpose.
