Description

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The purpose of this special notice is to provide the intent to sole source to Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) for the Virtual Women s Health Training Services to the Veterans Health Administrations VISN 06 Headquarters, in Durham, North Carolina. This unique specialized training provides healthcare professionals with skills necessary to improve patient care for female veterans. The objectives of this training are to (1) refine assessment and communication skills, (2) adequately prepare room for examination, (3) review assistance and examination techniques of Nurses and LPNs with GYN Teaching Associates (GTAs), (4) identify quality of care issues, (5) emphasize and enhance cultural communication skills. This requirement will be awarded under authority provided un FAR 13.106-1 (b) Soliciting from a single source. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 611310: Colleges, Universities, and Professional Schools with a standard size of $12.0 Million. This notice of intent is not a solicitation. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether competitive procedures could be used for this acquisition. If competitive procedures are not used it is estimated that an award will be issued by 8/16/2018. Any questions regarding this notice must be submitted in writing via email to wayne.neyland@va.gov. All responses to this notice of intent must be submitted so that they are received at wayne.neyland@va.gov no later than 5:00 pm Eastern 8/6/2018.
