We are seeking information for market research purposes only. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. Response is strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. The VHA Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) is seeking sources to help determine the availability of qualified Service Disabled /Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SD/VOSB) who can provide the BRAND NAME or equal items listed below for the Salisbury VAMC in Salisbury NC. CLINS DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIES/SERVICES QTY UNIT 0001 EZ1000 Battery Powered Shower Chair 7 EA 0002 3751000 Seat Cushion 7 EA 0003 0521020 Chest Strap Kit 7 EA Required salient specs and training: Chair capacity of at least 440 pounds Stainless Steel body Motorized Must have bed pan including lid Must be able to tilt back Height adjustable Adjustable, supportive headrest Safety belt Adjustable Arm, leg, and foot rests Removable battery packs Must include complimentary training for chair for at least two separate days/shifts The manufacturer of the brand name items is EZ Way. You must be able to provide authorized distributor letter from the manufacturer to be considered. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.1201(a) Prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications at the System for Award Management (SAM) as a part of required registration in conjunction with FAR 4.1102(a) that states, Prospective contractors shall be registered in the (SAM) database prior to award of a contract or agreement. Therefore, vendors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov to be considered for an award.
