- Solicitation for this Tender of Services (TOS) is forthcoming within the next five business days. The requirement is for the delivery of packing and shipping services to The Embassy of the United States in Caracas. The estimated quantities of personal effects and other official supplies and equipment to be packed for shipping are approximately 100,000 Kgs. In addition, the U.S. Embassy receives estimated quantities of 100 containers per fiscal year, which are cleared through customs by the contractor. Other shipments coming to mission are received and cleared by the contractor as well. Our tender of service includes frequently used shipping movements and air movements out of post, transportation to and from the ports to final destination, Unpacking and packing, customs clearance, bond store and storage etc. in other words it covers the complete move to post destination. Please note these are only estimated quantities. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. The solicitation will be issued via FedBizOpps. Multiples vendors will be awarded. The Government is planning a pre-proposal conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation.
