Description
PDF Copy of Modification and Q&A Modification-Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Solicitation Number: F1S0AX8183B102 Fence Line Security Camera Upgrades Due to this modification the deadline for submission of quote packages is being extended until 2:00pm (PST) Friday August 17, 2018. This solicitation is being modified to update section (v) CLIN Nomenclature and section (vii) Period of Performance. (Changes appear in bold). (v) CLIN Nomenclature CLIN 001: Phase 1: Materials CLIN 002: Phase 1: Labor OPTION CLIN 003: Phase 2: Materials OPTION CLIN 004: Phase 2: Labor OPTION CLIN 0005: Trenching Survey (vii) Period of Performance: Phase 1 & 2: 4 September 2018 - 31 January 2019 Q & A Additionally this modification provides answers to the following vendor questions: 1. Para 1.6.5.6 States "Contractor shall provide independent labeled conduits runs camera locations 1, 3, 4, and 5 for 120 VAC power." What size conduit is requested by Electrical Contractor? Do we provide any Wiring inside this conduit? Government Response: Contractor shall provide and install the appropriate conduit and wire per the NEC to meet the 120 VAC requirement per the camera location. 2. Since we are providing new conduit to each camera location for electricity. How fast will Electricity be provided to allow for close out of phase 1 & 2?. Current CLIN 001 and CLIN 002 are broken down by area, not type of work, without electricity at each camera location neither phase can be completed organically. Government Response: Contractor shall provide and install the appropriate conduit and wire. Therefore, electricity will be provided as quickly as contractor can provide it. 3. If electrical timeline cannot be determined, can the Phases be broken down to better facilitate completion for intermediate payment for CLIN 001 and CLIN 002: Phase I- Trenching, Conduit Installation, Cabling and Fiber installation, Asphalt Repair, Camera Hardware Installed. Site pending electrical installation and testing. (Estimated Completion time is 21 Days or less) Phase II- Power on and test Cameras, Provide Recording Solution, and Training of all government staff. (Estimated total completion time of 10 Days or less) Government Response: Contractor shall provide and install the appropriate conduit and wire. We would not like to reorganize CLINs except to add OPTION CLIN 005-Trenching Survey noted above. 4. Para 2.2 States Electricity, Water & Sewage would be provided. For Removal of old asphalt and general garbage does the government have a solid waste management company available for trash and asphalt removal? Government Response: Contractor shall be responsible to remove their dirt, asphalt and concrete spoils. 5. Rather than run fiber for the backhaul would options for a super tight wireless be something we could consider? This just gives a lot more flexibility relative to moving assets around, tailoring views/coverage and expansion. Government Response: Requirement shall remain fiber. 6. Trenching Survey Requirements? Government Response: At this time we have verbal confirmation a trenching survey exists showing the location of utility lines. In case this information is not accurate we'd like vendor to add Option CLIN 005 Trenching Survey and quote the cost of them to perform their own survey after award. We've been provided with the following saw cutting/trenching requirements for this job: Dirt: 881 Feet, Asphalt: 136 feet, Concrete: 60 feet.
