- Solicitation 12639518Q0197 The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) has issued a Request for Quotation for genotyping of feral swine tissue samples. The purpose of this project is to generate high resolution genetic data that will enable quantifying the genetic origins and genetic composition of feral swine populations across the Hawaiian Islands. Services involve furnishing appropriate equipment, genomic facilities, and labor to complete Axiom Porcupine Genotyping for 192 feral swine, and securely delivering the raw genotypic data to the Government. The scope of this contract will include receipt of tissue samples provided by USDA APHIS and utilization of appropriate quality control measures for extracting DNA, conducting Axiom Porcine Genotyping, and disseminating genotypes to USDA APHIS. The contractor must have demonstrated experience with Affymetrix genotyping. This solicitation is unrestricted. The Government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed-price commercial service contract. The appropriate NAICS code for this procurement is 541380. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
