- Description
- Solicitation package with attachments This requirement is for a firm-fixed price contract with 3-1 year Options for NOUN Reference Standard - Glass Skin to Nomex Core; NSN: 6635-01-458-4545BA; Part Number 17G110486-1. The Basic is for Qty of 4 each (includes first article), Test Plan (1 LO), and Test Report (1 LO). The 3-1 year Options are based on Qty range of 1-4 each. Used in conjunction with the sonic bondmaster, P/N 9622062, the reference standard will provide instrument calibration for measuring extent of damage on composite LRU's. During inspection setup, the probe is passed across an area on the reference standard that represents a "good" bond and then over the area with a void that represents a "bad" bond. The sensitivity of the instrument can now be fine adjusted to ensure rejectable flaws equal to or larger than.75 inch diameter can be detected. This requirement will be a set-aside for Small Business. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit and detailed instructions contained in the RFQ. All responsible Small Business sources may submit a proposal to be considered by the contracting agency. The Government will utilize the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS), Excluded Parties List System (EPLS), and other Government databases to determine contractor status before evaluating proposals. Proposal will be evaluated based on criteria stated in the RFQ. We anticipated release of the RFQ on or around 30 July 2018 with an estimated response date of 29 August 2018. The RFQ and all attachments will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities webpage (http://www.fbo.gov/). If you have questions or concerns related to this acquisition, contact the Contracting Specialist at email darryl.mortimer@us.af.mil; telephone 478-926-7888 or Contracting Officer Caprecia Mortimer at email caprecia.mortimer@us.af.mil; telephone 478-222-2663. All data for this component is considered EXPORT CONTROLLED.
