- Description
- Attached is the updated Statement of Work Vendor Questions and accompanying answers: •1. Is there a security requirement for the driver? Will the driver need to be escorted and if so what type of delay can be expected? Are there any special documents that the driver will need? Company will need to provide DL#, State of Issue, Expiration date, Name and bill of lading when they are scheduled to deliver. The driver will need to stop at the visitor center approximately once a month to pick up his or her paperwork that allows base entry during the prescribed hours. Very little delay should be expected, unless visiting base during rush hour on Thursday mornings. That is also a bad time to pick up paperwork at the visitor center, as it is quite busy. •2. Are there containers/bins in place or will they be provided as part of the requirement from the supplier? Both locations have their own bin. •3. Are the delivery areas more than 50 feet from the off-loading area? The delivery areas (Government dry ice storage bins) are within 50 feet of the off-loading area, inside of the clinics. The dry ice must be transeferred into the Government's storage bins. •4. Is delivery to the Randolph location on Tuesday, instead of Monday, acceptable? Tuesday would not be acceptable. Delivery must take place on Monday. •5. Are there docks for trucks at these sites? Yes •6. Would trucks be required to back in off of the street? No
