- REQUEST FOR INFORMATION / SOURCES SOUGHT for Decapper Machine for Laboratory DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS, VISN 23 Source Sought: The VA is seeking business sources qualified to provide some, or all, of the items listed below as Brand Name or Equal. This is NOT a solicitation. INTERESTED SOURCES SHALL RESPOND BY: Please submit response no later than 4:00pm CST Monday August 6, 2018 All responses and questions must be emailed to Joseph.Bennett@va.gov and must include in the subject line: Sources Sought, Decapper for Laboratory POTENTIAL SOURCES SHALL PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IN THEIR RESPONSE: 1. Company name, address, phone number, primary contact(s), e-mail address. 2. State if your firm distributes the Brand Name items, or Equal items. 3. DUNS number. 4. NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) code that your firm uses for dental supplies. 5. State if your firm is a large business, small business, service-disabled-veteran-owned small business, veteran-owned small business, HUB zone 8(a), women-owned small business or a small disadvantaged business. 6. State if your firm has required items on Schedule (FSS, GSA, other ). REQUIRED ITEM and Salient Characteristics: Part #9600 4750 Pluggo RH Decapper for the Laboratory, Brand-Name or Equal, 1 year warranty: Decaps up to 40 tubes per minute or 2,400 tubes per hour Walk-away operation for automated decapping of tubes in the instrument racks (Roche Cobas 6000 racks) by providing multi-rack input and multi-rack output. Must be compatible with Roche Cobas 6000 Racks. Small footprint: 22w x 24d x 14h or smaller. All standard original vacuum collection tubes can be run simultaneously, from 13-16mm in diameter and 75-100mm tall this Lab uses 2 different size sample tubes and needs to be able to decap simultaneously.
