Description
NSN 0R-1680-016559909-A9, REF NR 3994AS3367-1, QTY 5 EA, DELIVERY FOB ORIGIN. NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intends to solicit Service Disable COntracting Group (37ZZ1), Norfolk, VA for the purchase of various spares aircraft items.power supply. The intention of this solicitation is to award a firm fixedpriced purchase order. The government intends to contract on a sole source basis with Service Disable. Service Disable is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only knownsource for providing repair support of the above repair part. Thisprocurement is being processed in accordance with Part 15 of the FederalAcquisition Regulations (FAR). The applicable NAICS code is 334412. Thisrequirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only oneresponsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agencyrequirements. Based on the market research, the Government's need cannot be met by a type of item customarily available in the marketplace. FAR Part 12 shall not be used. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, quotationsor capability statements. This notice of intent is not a request forcompetitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 45 days (30days if award is issued under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA))after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by theGovernment. A determination by the Government not to compete with thisproposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within thediscretion of the Government. Information received will normally beconsidered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct acompetitive procurement. Responses to this notice of intent shall be submitted no later than fifteen (15) days from the date of this synopsis to NAVSUP WSS Philadelphia, Attn: Christine Pennington, Contracting Officer, Code (N762.06), 700 RobbinsAve, Bldg 1, Philadelphia, PA 19111. Service Disable will be solicited on or after 13 AUG 2018 and the solicitationwill close 30 days after the effective date of the solicitation.
