Page 2 of 2 This is a Sources Sought notice for SDVOSB/VOSB. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. Purpose and Objectives: Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. NAICS code: 541380 and sized standard is $15M. NOTE: Respondent claiming SDVOSB and VOSB status must be registered and CVE verified in VetBiz Registry www.vetbiz.gov. Project requirements: This requirement is for an annual contract to provide scheduled annual certification of 48 Isolation rooms owned by the VAMC Memphis. Provide semi-annual supply and exhaust readings in 5 (FIVE) rooms Provide annual certification of 34 Fume Hoods Perform semi- annual services to measure the total air flow, room volume, room pressure and the air changes per hour at the VAMC Memphis; Change HEPA filters and pre-filters in building 1A, 1 and 7 once a year and leak test the HEPA's once a year at the VAMC Memphis; and Perform annual certification on 1 biological safety cabinet. Certification of Isolation Rooms: The isolation rooms are used by the VAMC Memphis for patients with air or contact spreadable diseases. The rooms must be maintained in a negative air pressure status when a patient is in the room at minimal.0l with 12 air changes per hour. Contractor/ Vendor shall supply scheduled annual isolation room air flow readings ensuring there are 12 air changes per hour with a minimal of.01 negative air pressures in 48 rooms at VAMC Memphis. The contractor/vendor will invoice once a year. Contractor/ Vendor shall take semi-annual supply and exhaust readings in 5 (five) Nuclear Med rooms. Rooms must measure 6 air changes minimum or meet the current VA standard. Contractor shall perform annual certification on 1 (one) biological safety cabinet in microbiology room. Contractor/ Vendor's service shall consist of all labor, materials, equipment, travel, supervision, and quality control necessary to perform annual isolation room's air flow. Certification of Fume Hoods: These hoods are used by Research to perform test and other experiments. All Hoods must be certified in accordance with manufacturer specifications and ANSI/AIHA 29.5-2003. Contractor/ Vendor shall perform airflow Certification once a year in the month of November. The contractor/vendor will invoice upon completion of the tests. Contractor/ Vendor's service shall consist of all labor, materials, equipment, travel, supervision, and quality control necessary to perform annual air measurements of the fume hoods. The Contractor/ Vendor shall provide 2 (TWO) complete reports for each test to the Maintenance & Operations Supervisor at the VAMC Memphis. The Contractor Vendor must be a certified member of the Associated Air Balance Council (AABC). Anticipated period of performance: 01 October 2018 through 30 September 2019 plus four (4) one-year options. Information sought: Response to this announcement shall not exceed 10 pages and should include the following information: (1) A tailored capability statement indicating the firm s ability to provide a product and related services; (2) The respondents DUNS number, organization name, address, point of contact, and size and type of business (e.g., SDVOSB/VOSB, etc,) pursuant to the applicable NAICS code; (3) Information should be provided electronically in a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format.
